As the camels pulled into the caravansary, I could smell the exotic incense from the far east mixing with the rugged leather of the traders and the warm, musky smell of the pack getting their first drink. It reminded me of fantastic summer evenings with Osman the First, a decadent and gracious host. Launched in 2011, Rosam by Histoires De Parfums was created by Moroccan gourmet and perfume historian Gerald Ghislain, in memory of Arabic Taif rose perfume used by sultans for a heavenly ambience.
